Great write up! I have been seeing a lot about Blue Nile princess cut rings in my social media accounts recently, have you done any write ups on their engagement ring settings? They seem pretty inexpensive compared to those I saw in a local store in NYC.
Blue Nile is a decent e-retailer but they do not offer the best services for online shoppers. Read this and you will find out why: https://beyond4cs.com/reviews/blue-nile/
I had also wrote a column about the issues of buying at online vendors like BN: https://beyond4cs.com/buying-diamonds-blind/
Awesome stuff here. I’m a fan of Beyond4Cs.com and really enjoy reading your articles. Do you think princess cut antique rings are a good idea for an anniversary gift? I want to surprise my wife of 30 years for being a lovely companion and a great mother. Other options that I’m currently looking at are princess cut engagement rings with side stones. I’m pretty drawn towards the custom piece by Brian Gavin.
Yummy! The Verragio 2-tone design is one of the most unique princess cut diamond engagement rings I had ever seen.
Could you tell me if a princess cut diamond, 1.54 carat, colour E. clarity Vs2 is a good diamond to buy and place in a halo setting with smaller diamonds at the side. I don’t know the cut quality.
Many thanks
Alicia
Can’t tell you anything useful based on the information provided. Cut quality is of utmost importance. You definitely need to determine that before buying a princess cut.
