8 Fantastic Sites For Awe-Inspiring Engagement Ring Ideas

Diamond rings have always been an integral part of modern day weddings. After all, they are a women’s best friend and a diamond is “forever”. Unfortunately, when it comes to selecting an engagement ring design for a loved one, most people have no clue where to start.

In this blog post, I had compiled a useful list of online resources to help you find inspiration and ideas for ring designs. Best of all, these websites provide real photographs (and even videos!) instead of generic “stock images” to help you better visualize things.

Whiteflash’s Jewelry Gallery

Whiteflash is a company which is famous for their ideal cut diamonds and fine jewelry. Besides offering competitive prices for certified diamonds, they also offer affordable custom design services for a global audience.

You can find a collection of their finest work (as well as designer pieces like Tacori & Verragio!) inside their jewelry gallery. What I like about their gallery is that it is very well organized and easy to navigate.

Also, I find their craftsmanship on finished products to be of extremely high quality and this is largely due to the state-of-the-art production facility they have on-site. And if you ever need additional information about a piece of jewelry, it can be conveniently found within a couple of mouse clicks.

James Allen – Videos of Various Engagement Ring Styles

James Allen allows you to interact with their diamond rings in 360° videos (yes! videos and not just photographs) from your computer screen. This slick website is the go-to destination for online jewelry. Besides search filters you can tweak to view designs by style or material type, there is also a lifelike computer simulation which shows how the ring looks like on a hand.

Pinterest

If you didn’t know yet, Pinterest is the kingpin of online pinboards (pun intended). While Pinterest may not be the most user-friendly website to navigate around, they offer Internet users a great way to share and find new content. In fact, these visual pinboards created by members are a treasure trove of ideas waiting to be discovered.

One of the pinboards that deserves a special mention is a collation of engagement ring designs made by a user called biffmeplease.

Conclusion

As you can see, the Internet has made it really easy for anyone to access hundreds of ring designs with the click of a few mouse buttons. For people who dislike walking into a physical jewelry store and getting served by pushy sales people, these online websites are a huge boon to do your research.

I strongly recommend taking your time when browsing through the designs. And if possible, it would be best to find out the tastes and preferences of your recipient before making any purchases.

Hope you enjoyed the post!

What would you recommend for people on a budget? I just graduated and found a job in the marine industry. I figured it’s time to propose to my girlfriend of 4 years but I don’t have much savings to blow on a proposal ring. If you have alternate ideas for engagement rings, I would definitely welcome them if they are budget friendly!

What’s your budget like? It is possible to find a 0.50 carat size diamond ring with great cut quality in a white gold setting for less than $2000.
